Electro
Deionization Equipment (EDI)
| Electro deionization is a new technology that uses electro
dialysis and ion exchange technology to remove salt from water. All
ions can be effectively removed from water by this equipment. The
rate of water resistance is from 5 to 18 MΩ .cm (25°C). Its advantages
include continuous operation, high water output, no need to recycle
acid and alkaline water. Usually the water supply of EDI is reverse
osmosis pure water. |

Advantages of EDI
| ⊙ Consistent output of water |
⊙ Takes up a small amount of space |
| ⊙ Does not require chemical regeneration |
⊙ Safe and easy operation |
| ⊙ Lower operation cost than mixed bed ion exchanger |
⊙ Automatic operation |
